2000-09-08 I'm rereading The Unconsoled because I'm excited about the new kazuo ishiguro book. i don't really have heroes or idols or anything, but I guess if i had to pick an author who's body of worki most consistently liked, it'd be him. an artist of the floating world is still my favorite though. but for the new one i'm waiting for paperback. so that's like that. i don't like this new crop of youngsters. i have to keep trying harder. Dave, I know you read this. You're too obvious. Fuck off. Get your own ideas.
